I’m Hamish Lorne, an ocean conservationist, underwater wildlife photographer and nature nerd. My journey started with a love for reptiles and local river life as a child. Eventually shifting towards the ocean, where I’ve been ever since. From studying animal husbandry in college to science communication at University, I’ve had hands-on work with coral care, species ID, animal tracking, underwater filming, film making and ecological field work. Whether I’m diving with a camera, volunteering in coral conservation or working as an aquatic engineer, out on an African safari, or even in the local rockpools, everything I do is about connecting people with the natural world.
